Heartbeat of the Moon

July 2–August 2, 2021

Tsomoriri bunko (Chofu, Tokyo, Japan)

“Tsukimiso” is an art unit consisting of Haruna Sugisaki, Ayaka Suzuki, and Ayako Yamada.
Three naïve receptors looking up at the moon. The pulsation of life that each exudes.
First exhibition at the art space "Tsomoriri Bunko" in Chofu, Tokyo.

Following the naive and soft moonlight-like works by members Yamada and Suzuki, Sugisaki created a wall painting titled "Heartbeat of the Sun" in the Tsomoririri Bunko. The following is the text about the mural.

“Heart beat of the Moon”

Feel the after glow of this world.
Feel this place, step on the ground.

Look at the swaying sun.
Be a river.

Flow your anger, sadness, impatience in to the earth.
Forgive yourself.
The river continues to anywhere.
It sways quietly and shines brilliantly.

We become water,
become the sun,
become the moon.

The river is flowing through your body.
It's going on timelessly.
