We were invited to hold a workshop with local people at "dotbase" and "Asakura" in Shinano-Omachi, Nagano Prefecture. While staying in Omachi, we picked up things that had fallen along the roadsides of Omachi while staying with artists we knew.
People we met gave us iris and rose dyes, soot from stoves, plant seeds, and plant specimens, which we used to create a workshop to make spirits of Omachi. The workshop was a spirit-making workshop in which participants were asked to pick up an object they liked or were interested in and explore its form.
With the leftover materials, I painted a picture of Omachi.
