“Painting with Clay—What Color is the Earth's Memory?”
“PLAY EARTH PARK” is workshop for the 70th anniversary of Goldwyn Co.

Let's paint life using soil as paint!
Familiar soil and sand are the materials for painting this time. Soil is made of decomposed rocks and various plants and animals that have decomposed after death. In other words, soil is the history and memory of a place. Let's mix various kinds of soil and sand to make natural paints and draw living creatures with the energy that resides in them with Haruna Sugisaki, a clay painter who has been drawing stories, history, and activities rooted in the local climate using soil, ash, soot, and other materials.

The “PLAY EARTH PARK” event for children and families will be held from July 23 (Sat) to August 14 (Sun) at the Toyama Prefectural Museum of Art, Fubiwa Canal Kansui Park, with the themes of NATURE, ART, UPCYCLE, and TECH. The workshops will be held under the themes of NATURE, ART, UPCYCLE, and TECH to encourage children to think about their relationship with nature in the city.
We hope you will join us for a variety of events that will stimulate children's curiosity and imagination.
