“Daidara in the Tea Fields”
The tea fields planted on the mountainside of Kakegawa look like creatures that are moving about, so I painted this work. The tea leaves, bathed in sunlight and waving in the wind, are superimposed on the figure of a specter called “Daidara Bocchi,” the tea plantation Daidara Bocchi.

“The mountain is always watching”
This work depicts the artist's childhood memories of the Yasaka mountains, where she went to play with her grandfather and grandmother to gather wild vegetables. She remembers well the feeling of being enveloped by the mountain, though a little scared, among the trees and plants taller than she was.

“Colors of the Day”
With the cooperation of Kakegawa citizens, paints made of Kakegawa plants, flowers, and soil were created. 82 kinds in total. All the paints were used to depict “people making paints. The coloring was also done by people who visited the warehouse.
